Collagen peptides certified at 2,000 Daltons for optimal absorption
The effectiveness of a collagen formula depends above all on peptide size, and in particular on the presence of dipeptides and tripeptides, meaning peptides made up of 2 or 3 amino acids. These peptides play a key role in stimulating fibroblasts (the cells that produce type I collagen) and chondrocytes (the cells that produce type II collagen).
Hydrolyzed forms of collagen provide smaller, more easily absorbed peptides. That is why we selected hydrolysates averaging 2,000 Daltons, including a 10% fraction at 300 Daltons.
This size allows effectiveness from 5 grams of type I and 500 mg of type II per day, for visible results from 1 to 2 months.
100% natural Collagen with no fishy taste
Our high-grade peptides (purity and quality) offer perfect solubility. Our formula contains no additives, no sugar and no sweeteners. A subtle natural flavoring (7 flavors: peach, chocolate, lemon, red berries, vanilla, matcha and unflavored) lets it blend into your hot and cold preparations. You will find ideas in our recipe ebook.
French Collagen, a guarantee of quality and traceability
Our two patented collagens come from sustainable, French supply chains.
Naticol® type I and III collagen comes from fish skin, which is then processed in a factory in southwest France, with production labeled Friend of the Sea.
Our type II collagen, Cartidyss®, comes from a sustainable, eco-responsible fishery and is manufactured in Brittany.
Type I, II and III collagens, finally combined at the right dosage
28 different types of collagen are known to date, but types I and III make up 90% of human collagen. They are the most abundant types in the skin, but they are also found elsewhere, notably in tendons, muscles and ligaments.
Naticol type I and III collagen for the skin
Type I collagen is characterized by a specific tripeptide: glycine-proline-hydroxyproline. We selected the French patented type I and III collagen Naticol® for its 3 clinical studies on skin, which showed strong efficacy, including:
Cartidyss type II collagen for the joints
Our formula also contains type II collagen, a specific form derived from cartilage and characterized by the specific tripeptide glycine-proline-hydroxylysine. We selected the patented type II collagen Cartidyss®, a high-quality ingredient made in France, whose benefits for joint health are clinically established (1 clinical study):
The benefits of collagen supplementation are numerous and now well documented. The literature also confirms the tolerance of a daily intake of several grams of collagen, which has paved the way for increasingly sought-after and recognized supplementation.
To benefit from the beneficial properties of collagen, it is recommended to favor a hydrolyzed form of collagen ("collagen hydrolysate"). The smaller the peptides, the more bioavailable and effective they are. They provide structural building blocks for endogenous collagen production, but also stimulate collagen production by fibroblasts.
Collagen for the skin
Collagen accounts for 30% of the proteins in our body. So what is it used for?
Collagen is the body's main structural protein, including in the skin (type I collagen). In the skin, it provides support and firmness by contributing to the formation of connective tissues such as the dermis, the thickest layer of the skin. It is easy to understand why the benefits of collagen supplementation (providing building blocks and stimulating production) mainly impact the beauty and texture of the skin.
Collagen for the joints
Collagen (with vitamin C) is also used to support joint health, since cartilage, the junction tissue between the bones in joints, is itself rich in collagen (type II). Vitamin C, for its part, contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, cartilage and bones.
