How much zinc bisglycinate should you take per day for each profile?
The recommended daily dose is the same in all countries (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland): 1 capsule per day.
Duration of a course
Our zinc formula is best taken as a course, during the period of need (lowered immunity, fertility).
How to take our zinc?
Simply take the capsules with a large glass of water. Can the capsules be opened? Yes.
How long does one bottle last?
One bottle of our zinc formula lasts 2 months.
Precautions for use
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, away from light and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
First, a well-tolerated zinc supplement
One capsule of our zinc formula provides 10 mg of elemental zinc, or 100% of the NRV. Unlike zinc oxide or citrate, our two zinc sources are fully soluble in the intestine, ensuring perfect digestive tolerance.
Second, a zinc better absorbed than bisglycinate
When it comes to absorption, zinc has two pitfalls to avoid.
The first is the phytate trap: these negatively charged molecules, found in plant-based foods, trap positively charged minerals. To prevent phytates from reducing our formula's effectiveness, we use liposomal technology. Our zinc is microencapsulated in fatty acids, fully shielding it from outside interactions to deliver maximum bioavailability.
The second is competition with other minerals. Absorbing more zinc is only a good thing if it doesn't come at the expense of minerals like iron. That's why we combined not one, but two patented sources of zinc: liposomal and bisglycinate. Our two carriers use different absorption pathways (notably paracellular transport and endocytosis), helping to ease congestion of the ionic pathway, the main absorption route for dietary minerals.
Finally, zinc's action optimized with added selenium
These two trace elements play very similar roles in the body, and their metabolisms are closely linked. They protect cells from oxidative stress, and more broadly, zinc and selenium contribute to hormonal regulation (thyroid function), sperm production, and immune support. A measured intake of selenium reinforces zinc's action across these different areas.
Immunity, fertility, antioxidant defenses, cell growth, hormonal activity, skin health... Found only in trace amounts, zinc is an essential trace element involved in numerous functions throughout the body and in the activity of more than 300 enzymes.
Zinc for immunity
Zinc plays a role in many functions of our metabolism, and it is especially essential for the effectiveness of our immune system. It supports the maturation and activity of immune cells like T and B lymphocytes, as well as the synthesis of thymulin, an enzyme. A zinc deficiency also promotes inflammatory states by disrupting cytokine regulation. Thanks to its powerful antioxidant activity, zinc helps protect cells and support immunity. Overall, a lack of zinc weakens our immune defenses.
Zinc for skin
Zinc is an essential nutrient for healthy skin. It supports wound healing and is therefore involved in many skin concerns. Its effectiveness against acne, in particular, is now well documented, helping to reduce blemishes.
Zinc for fertility
Zinc is an essential trace element for human fertility and reproduction. Beyond its role in testosterone synthesis, it supports the healthy development of the testes, epididymis, and prostate. It also plays a key role in sperm development, maturation, and motility, as well as in cell division. In addition, zinc helps maintain normal testosterone levels.
Zinc for other functions
Zinc is also involved in carbohydrate metabolism, brain function, fatty acid metabolism, acid-base metabolism, protein synthesis, blood clotting, and vision. It plays a role in child growth and fetal development during pregnancy, making it an excellent choice of supplement for pregnant women. Zinc also contributes to maintaining normal bones.
Supplementing with zinc, for example by taking our zinc supplement, can help reduce the risk of deficiency.
