When do you take your immunity pack?

It doesn't matter the time of day, the important thing is to take your capsules at mealtimes:
The stomach PH is then less acidic which allows a better survival rate of probiotics, you also benefit from a better absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), Spirulina allows you to fight against the blows of tiredness, it is preferable to take it in the morning. With or without a meal does not matter.

How to take your capsules and tablets?

It's very simple, you have to take your capsules with a big glass of water.

How many capsules?

Probiotics: 1 capsule/d (15 billion CFU*).
CFU: colony-forming unit

Spirulina: from 4 tablets per day (2 grams).
Start with 1 tablet/day and gradually increase the amount. Too high dosages at the start can indeed lead to headaches and digestive disorders due to the detoxifying properties of spirulina.

Multivitamins: from 2 capsules/d.

Comment prendre ses gélules et comprimés ?

C’est très simple, il faut prendre ses gélules avec un grand verre d’eau.

Combien de gélules ?

Probiotiques : 1 gélule/j (15 milliards d’UFC*).

Spiruline : à partir de 4 comprimés par jour (2 grammes).
Démarrez vos prises par 1 comprimé/j et augmentez progressivement la quantité. Des dosages trop élevés au démarrage peuvent en effet entraîner des maux de têtes et des troubles digestifs en raison des propriétés détoxifiantes de la spiruline.

Questions - Answers

Is there a risk of overdose between spirulina and multivitamins?

The question arises only for vitamin A, vitamin B12 and vitamin K.

- The Multi and our Spirulina contain a vitamin A precursor: beta-carotene. The body uses it according to its needs. This avoids the risk of overdose sometimes encountered with certain synthetic forms such as retinol. The scientific consensus indicates 15mg as the limit, a safe threshold that we are far from exceeding, even if we combine spirulina and multivitamins.

- The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and the scientific consensus do not mention an MDI (maximum daily intake) for vitamin B12. Therefore, there is no risk of overdose.

- In France, the same is true for vitamin K: it has no MDI and therefore no risk of overdose.

Is there a risk of consuming beta-carotene when you are a smoker?

There have been many studies investigating the relationship between beta-carotene and cancer risk in smokers, but the results remain controversial. Some have concluded that there is an increased risk, while others have found no direct link between beta-carotene and cancer risk in smokers. In fact, any risk is to be considered but it is important to place oneself in the nutritional conditions observed or imposed in these studies. Indeed, in the large, landmark studies, the beta-carotene supplements imposed were 20 mg per day, or even more, and over several years. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) ruled in 2012 that exposure to beta-carotene, at levels below 15 mg per day, did not present adverse health effects in the general population, with specific reference to smokers. In a consumption context, in France, the national individual study of food consumption (INCA3, 2017) showed that the average daily intake of beta-carotene was 2.7 mg.
