Vegetable and Organic Protein has been designed and developed as a harmonious alternative to animal proteins. A dedicated cookbook will even allow it to fit into your daily life! The presence of 4 proteins, soluble fibers and vitamin B12 gives it a nutritional balance as well as a unique taste for a vegan mix. The specific choice of certain ingredients such as chia, cocoa powder as well as the natural flavoring without the addition of sweeteners respect both the sensoriality of the product and the process in which it is part.

A vegan and bio-identical vitamin D

Two forms of vitamin D are present in nature: the D2 form, which is essentially vegetable, and the D3 form, which comes from the animal kingdom. Our body cannot use vitamin D2, which is not an effective form of vitamin D intake.
Vitamin D3 from lichen is therefore like a small miracle, since it is plant AND bio-identical, therefore effective. Its adjustable dosage of 1000 IU / drop allows it to adapt to the whole family, from 4 years old!

  • Vegetable and Organic Protein should be taken with breakfast or meal before a sports session.
  • Vitamin D should be taken with breakfast.

How to take its supplements?

  • Vegetable and Organic Protein is a powdered drink preparation based on organic vegetable proteins.
  • Dilute 25 g (2 measuring spoons) of powder in 200 ml of water.
  • Shake until completely dissolved.
  • Feel free to create your own recipes (you can cook it, it will reduce the intake of B12, but not protein)!
  • Vitamin D drops are to be taken directly on the tongue or in a spoon, or added to a cold drink.

How many pods and drops?

Vegetable and Organic Protein

  • Children: Not recommended.
  • Adolescents: Not recommended.
  • Adults and athletes: 1 to 2 doses per day depending on the physical activity performed.
  • Pregnant and lactating women: may be suitable for women with low protein intake.

Vegetable Vitamin D

  • Children: 1 drop per day.
  • Adolescents: 1 to 2 drops per day.
  • Adults: 1 to 2 drops per day.
  • Pregnant and lactating women: 2 drops per day.
  • Athletes: 2 drops per day.

Duration of a dose

  • Vegetable and Organic Protein can be taken daily, but must correspond to protein needs:
    - Make up for a diet low in protein.

Are both products certified Vegan?

Yes, our protein and vitamin D are Vegan Certified by the Vegan Society. The protein is also certified organic by Ecocert, and the D3 is offered in an extra-virgin and organic rapeseed oil. The vitamin itself cannot be certified organic because Lichen cannot be organic.

Have you thought about the taste of your Vegetable and Organic Protein?

Why fiber with your vegetable proteins?

La consommation de fibres a été démontrée insuffisante dans les études françaises de consommation (INCA, NutriNet Santé). La présence naturelle et l’ajout fibres solubles, dans une formule de supplémentation en protéines représente donc un atout nutritionnel non négligeable (3,3 g de fibres par portion). Notez surtout qu’il s'agit essentiellement de fibres solubles dont votre microbiote va certainement raffoler.

If I am vegan, does your Vegetable and Organic Protein ensure that I am getting enough B12?

C’est possible, mais vous devez le vérifier. Les personnes qui ne mangent aucun produit d’origine animale peuvent effectivement développer des carences en vitamine B12, et celle-ci n’est pas sans conséquences. Une supplémentation est donc recommandée, et vous devez absolument suivre votre statut vitaminique, et éventuellement compléter ce pack par notre Multi (vegan aussi), qui apporte 100% des VNR en B12 sous forme de méthylcobalamine, soit la forme la plus biodisponible et efficace de vitamine B12.

Can I Give My Infant Vitamin D3?

Notre vitamine D3 a été conçue pour convenir aux adultes et aux enfants à partir de 4 ans. En dessous de 4 ans, il est préférable de vous tourner vers des produits spécifiquement conçus pour cette tranche d’âge.

I thought the D3 form was reserved for the plant kingdom, how did you do it?

C’est le petit miracle du lichen ! Cette espèce hybride champignon/algue présente un taux de forme D3 particulièrement élevée pour le règne végétal, habituellement plus riche en forme D2.

Do I have to supplement myself with D3 if I am vegan?

Vitamin D supplementation is generally recommended, since a large majority of French people have insufficient intakes. However, the dietary sources of vitamin D3 are rather animal (fish), and when you are vegan, your intakes can quickly become insufficient. It is therefore recommended to boost its intake by appropriate supplementation.
